Right product, right physician, right time
Usually, the last thing we want to see on a holiday is a message about work. But this message was important.
Dr. Andres Schanzer, who uses our products at UMass Memorial Medical Center, texted me on Christmas day. He said that the night before, he had used one of our products to help a patient after a terrible auto accident. Fortunately, when Dr. Schanzer called his local Cook rep, Dave Collins, he was able to confirm that the hospital had on the shelf the type and size of product the boy needed.

The product used in the operation is from our Aortic Intervention division and was made at Cook Medical in Denmark. Every day when you come to work, remember that the products we make will become part of a patient’s story. We are thankful that this story has a happy ending.
