Aviation Indiana annual conference

Cook Aviation participated once again at the Aviation Indiana (AI) annual conference, which was held in Evansville, Indiana, from October 9-11.

At our booth this year, we highlighted new photos of our facilities and had some great conversation about diversity and inclusion.

I am very passionate about and like to help educate people about wellness issues, including diversity and inclusion. So, in addition to providing complimentary aviation items at our booth, we also gave away eye glasses cleaner to illustrate how we all see the world with our own set of eyes (lenses), thoughts, and experience. From time to time, we need to clean our glasses (our minds and thoughts) to see things from a different perspective.

The booth was warmly received and there were numerous conversations that helped to educate.

Aviation holiday party

Cook Aviation celebrated our awards banquet and holiday party on Tuesday, December 11, at the Irish Lion in downtown Bloomington. Thirteen guests were in attendance. We recapped the year’s accomplishments and recognized Steve Capps, Line Service manager, for his 20 years of service to Cook Aviation.
