HalloweenTraditions2014_1My family really looks forward to Halloween every year. My son always waits until the last minute to pick his costume (a tradition), and we usually have a hectic and loud house full of kids and family friends (another tradition). This year my 3-year-old daughter is getting into the Halloween spirit too and can’t seem to make up her mind what she should be – a kitty or a princess?

For those of you who don’t know much about Halloween, check out this video for some history.

Here in the U.S., I think every family has their own way of celebrating Halloween. Our family here at Park 48 is no different. I discovered when I started working here 5 years ago that Halloween is a big deal at Park 48. Every year there is a Halloween parade here in the building, and I’ve discovered that our employees are really creative! There are some pictures below of my favorite costumes this year.

Last year when I was doing some research for our 50th Anniversary, I discovered some photos that prove that celebrating Halloween is a long-standing tradition around Cook. It was something Bill Cook really enjoyed. Take a look at Halloween photos through the years below.

No matter where you are in the Cook world, if you’re celebrating Halloween, I hope you have a great time! Tell us how you are celebrating, we’d like to hear about it.
