Happy Halloween from Park 48 (2014 Edition)
My family really looks forward to Halloween every year. My son always waits until the last minute to pick his costume (a tradition), and we usually have a hectic and loud house full of kids and family friends (another tradition). This year my 3-year-old daughter is getting into the Halloween spirit too and can’t seem to make up her mind what she should be – a kitty or a princess?
For those of you who don’t know much about Halloween, check out this video for some history.
Here in the U.S., I think every family has their own way of celebrating Halloween. Our family here at Park 48 is no different. I discovered when I started working here 5 years ago that Halloween is a big deal at Park 48. Every year there is a Halloween parade here in the building, and I’ve discovered that our employees are really creative! There are some pictures below of my favorite costumes this year.
Last year when I was doing some research for our 50th Anniversary, I discovered some photos that prove that celebrating Halloween is a long-standing tradition around Cook. It was something Bill Cook really enjoyed. Take a look at Halloween photos through the years below.
No matter where you are in the Cook world, if you’re celebrating Halloween, I hope you have a great time! Tell us how you are celebrating, we’d like to hear about it.
