All in a day’s work

Hi, I’m Jason Brown and I head up our video department in Marketing. We get a ton of video requests for meetings and for reps to use with our customers…so we stay VERY busy! And there’s a surprising amount of variety in what we do! I’ve shot video in a live procedure room, out of a hot air balloon, and out of the back of a van for Cook video projects.

Anyway, I wanted to share a story about a unique video that I was asked to make:

It was our Cook Japan office’s 10th anniversary and they were going to have a celebration. The Cook Japan planning team wanted us to shoot a quick message from leadership here at headquarters. Well, we did not want this to be just a “talking head” video, so we came up with some ideas on how we could make this video in a more “Cook” way.

After talking with the Japanese leadership and marketing teams, we had the idea! Fast forward to December and I’m standing in the rotunda of P48 after work hours with a camera, a scissor lift, all of our props, and a small audience. Talk about surreal!

Enjoy the video and congratulations to Cook Japan for 10 years in business!

By: Jason Brown Biography - I'm a recovering skater, I love music, and my favorite candy is circus peanuts. I have 2 young children - 6 and 8 years old, a wife of 14 years, 6 backyard chickens, and I love my job! I get to meet people from all the different parts of Cook and I've been lucky to be able to travel to very interesting places and be invited into very personal parts of our patients lives. I'm so proud of my team and the people I get to work with for doing a great job telling stories visually - if you have any cool story ideas or any suggestions...we are always interested in hearing them!
