Critical Care reps thank production for The Big Push
One of our blog posts in April focused on The Big Push by the production teams–for six weeks, each department set a goal of 45 hours worked per employee each week. We are happy to report that the total goal for extra hours was met, as shown in the graph below.
This effort added extra products to the pipeline. For example, during the push, we built 30% more of the components needed to build our products than we normally produce during a 6-week time period. But we still have a long way to go before delivery delays are eliminated. So we are still offering unlimited overtime to production employees, adding night shifts, bringing in 75 summer help employees, and working to fill 100 full-time positions.
Next time you are in P48 or one of the other manufacturing sites, try to stop in and say thank you to the production teams for putting in extra time on the manufacturing floor. Tell them about a patient who was helped by our product—it is very inspiring to everyone in-house to learn how the products they are working on all day end up touching real lives.
Before we even had a chance to ask that of you, we received this video from the Critical Care field team. We can’t wait to show it to manufacturing staff.
