Output from The Big Push visible in pipeline

The Big Push ended in late May, but the extra products resulting from that work in manufacturing have been working their way through the system. A large wave of products has been keeping the Packaging Department hopping for the past couple weeks. Extra processing lines have been set up to handle the extra volume of product, and other departments loaned workers to pitch in.  We thought we’d show you what that volume of product looks like, creating a towering maze of bins and trays. Take a look at the slideshow.

Packaging Department feeling The Push

From Packaging, products are gradually moving to Post-Sterilization in Ellettsville, as these photos below show.

From there, product moves on to the North American Distribution Center. We’ll send you updates in the coming weeks.

It will be a while yet before the product appears in the field, and this doesn’t completely resolve the backorder situation, but it’s nice to see that we are making a dent in it. Thanks to all these post-manufacturing departments for handling the heavy load.

  1. We in production are tired, but more than that, we in production are determined! Determined to get our hand crafted, quality products to our sales team, so that in turn we together can get those products to that grandparent, parent, child, that significant other, or even a loved one. We will do this! We will do this because we are COOK, and at COOK we care about our patients…
    Preparing for push number two!
