Pictures of you, Pictures of Cook

Cook Australia
Established in 1979, William A. Cook Australia celebrated 40 years of operation this year. While we are excited to be celebrating our 40th year in business, this milestone could not have been reached without the help of all our employees, past and present.

From our early days based in the suburbs of Melbourne, to more than 600 people employed around Australia today, it has been quite an extraordinary journey—one that has included creative thinkers, innovators, and a commitment to sheer hard work. As part of our anniversary celebration, we developed a series of videos titled Pictures of you, Pictures of Cook, and encouraged employees to share their stories and experiences from over the last four decades. Each video represents an important part of the culture and community at Cook.

We hope you enjoy watching the videos below, and we welcome you to share your own stories in the comments as well.

Our sense of family

In this video, we focus on how as a global, family-owned medical device manufacturing company, a sense of family is very important to us, and we’re glad to hear it’s something you value too.

Our commitment to people

The common thread that connects us all together is our commitment to people—that is our customers and patients, colleagues and communities.

Our legacy and future

As we look back at the past 40 years in Australia, we reflect on our legacy and look at what’s to come in the future.

Special thanks

A special thank you to Beverley Findlay, Dora Alofipo, Willy Alofipo, Sally Kennedy, James Guy, Vlad Campanu, Qing Zeng, Anthony Tammita, Kerri Megens, Mike McKeone, Fran Brooks, Doris Kousoulas, Marco Crescia, Lola Bendon, Helen Friend, Josh Griffin, Jeanie Manning, Kellie Watt, Maata Waterhouse, Joanne Daniels, Ross Harvey, Chris Cutter, Glen Scott, Mark Muller, Penny Roderick, and Leigh Huffer for participating in our Pictures of you, Pictures of Cook video series and sharing what Cook means to you.
