The Cook Hook
Times like these are not particularly inspiring, but during the adversity of the pandemic, encouraging solutions still emerge. Inspired by another invention sometimes referred to as the corona hook, which was created by others and has been available online and in various stores for some time now, the Tool Shop at Cook Denmark had the awesome idea of manufacturing such a hook themselves at an affordable and encouraging cost.
This “home-cooked” hook, which has been aptly named the “Cook Hook,” is now available free of charge to all employees at the Danish site. By using the Cook Hook, we have been able to strengthen our efforts to limit the potential transmission of the COVID-19 virus along with other bacteria in general. As an added bonus, opening doors and using the punch clocks has never been more fun!

I go around to enough hospitals that it would be an added benefit to have one. A shame that they’re only available in Europe. But that is an amazing idea and I’m glad they could improve it and make it more affordable.
